Our "usual" Chinese restaurant was closed, so we gave this place a shot (carry out).
Very good food at a reasonable price. We almost wish we lived in Belle Plaine so that we could enjoy the delivery that they offer.

When we first moved to Belle Plaine, we didn't try here because of the poor reviews. What a mistake! We get delivery at least once a week now! The combination platters are $7-8 for an entree, fried rice, and an egg roll? Can't beat that. I will say that sometimes the battered, fried foods are a little too breaded or over cooked, but for the most part we get good stuff. I highly recommend the hot and sour soup, egg rolls, and Mongolian beef.

They try very hard here. With that said, this place would be much better off if they had additional help; they have two people that I've seen who do everything from waiting tables, to cooking the food, to maintaining the buffet. I would not recommend arriving at opening, as the full buffet isn't ready until at least noon. Food choices are decent; lunch today had chicken with broccoli, happy family, pork w/mushrooms, egg rolls, crab rangoons, fried rice, a beef dish in a sour sauce, and two different kinds of soup.
They are very polite and I got a free gift (a calendar) on my most recent visit. Get yourself some more help and this place could shine. As it is, I can't give it any more than a three star review. Also, the buffet heaters could be turned up a little bit as well. -

i rerlly like the veggee chow mein & egg foo youn. i always stop here on way home to san paul from lon day at mankato. soo nice to havve warm homey cook meal very nice woman cook, we like her, i always wosh I give bigger tip she deserv, next time i tip more i recompend good crunch noodle with chow mein and good gravy egg foo youn. give a try.

We were excited to see there was a Chinese restaurant in town, but super disappointed when we got there. We were greeted by a tiny boy, no older than 10, and our "waitress" was a high school girl. The parents (maybe) were sitting there on their phones and watching their kids work. Pity. They had a buffet with 7 items. 7. The food was cold and dry, clearly it had been sitting out all day. Not at all impressed. Then I was worried to leave a tip because honestly I expected the parents would take it even though the kids did all the work.
We also ordered delivery once after that, thinking maybe if the food was prepared fresh it would be good. We were wrong. Still cold upon arrival and not much flavor. We won't be back.
